Your initial visit is a valuable opportunity for us to get to know each other. We aim to understand your concerns and expectations, allowing us to provide personalized care and work together to maintain your dental health.
If you experience dental anxiety, please do not hesitate to let us know in advance. By informing us ahead of time, we can prepare for your visit and discuss various ways to help ease your nerves. Your well-being is our top priority, and we want you to feel safe and comfortable at every visit.
During your first visit, you’ll receive a Comprehensive Evaluation. This evaluation, given to all new patients, includes gathering information to discuss your concerns or needs and to diagnose any necessary treatments. We will take x-rays, which are essential for detecting many dental conditions and to properly assess our overall oral health.
If you had x-rays taken at a previous office, please ask them to email your images to us at info@interlachendental.com before your first appointment. We recommend contacting the previous office as soon as possible, as you may need to sign a Records Release Form to authorize the transfer of your x-rays or other health information. If you need assistance obtaining the form, please let us know. We can have one available for you to pick up at the office, or we can send it to you by email or mail if time allows.
For new patients scheduled for a prophylaxis (cleaning) at their first visit, we have reserved an hour and a half for your appointment.
You will be required to review and sign three forms, which can be accessed by clicking the ‘Forms‘ link below or by navigating to ‘Patient Information’ at the top of this page, then selecting ‘Forms.’ Once completed, the forms will be emailed directly to our office. If you prefer, these forms can also be completed in the office upon your arrival. Additionally, please remember to bring your photo ID, dental insurance card, and, if applicable, a list of medications you are currently taking.
Please contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you!
